K bitches so I got my old seemingly unbreakable stock block back from Jake (the 30psi no boom block). Im gonna get a simple stock rebuild on it, shove it in the car, and thats that for a while.

 

Looks like the guy I use to build my engines is no longer building engines. Wonderful. So its looking like Ryan (gdnimrod) and I will be rebuilding this block. Considering I'm saving some cash now doing it this way, I'm going to put in some cheap H beam rods, King Bearings and ARP hardware. Stock pistons. It'll be ready for boost again but that wont be for at least another 8-9 months

Wheels and tires ordered. I bought cheap XXR ---- because well, Im on a serious budget and my stock wheels are trashed. I'm getting Buffons suspension because its cheap and at this point, I just really want to drive my piece of ---- without feeling like the tires are gonna explode because theyre dry rotted. I like rice at times and my car is gonna look like rice for a while till I have the money to start getting better stuff. For right now though, Im content.

Edit - xxr 527's with falken tires. I got all 4 wheels for 280.00 shipped on egay. Seller fucked up the listing and forgot to put a shipping price but was nice enough to just let the wheels go with free shipping. so yeah,they were the cheapest set of new wheels I could get that were decent.

Ordered my ricelands. I think at this point Im gonna end up buying another NA and throwing a turbo on it instead. Ill keep this pos as my daily. Im gonna do things as stressless this time around and not modding my daily to where its gonna have issues. Id rather that happen on another car that I dont depend on instead. On top of that, this car has already started off on the wrong road so no need to exacerbate problems but dicking with it too much as I have the history of doing

 

*** that noise, keep your current one as a daily, and save up to buy a V8 miata, I've seen them for $10K-$15K lately. Thats what I'm gonna do.
