Please, yes!
(2 weeks until the price release on 3/28...right?! RIGHT! :hatecat:) |
Pokeee may finally find some traction on the street!
One can hope, at least. |
I might have to get ugly fender bolt ons for this. I think I'll be sending my car to the body shop for rust repair long before proper flares are developed.
...or I could just be reasonable and stick with 225/9" combo. But we all know rationale is irrelevant here. |

Weighed the 245/40/15 VR-1 at 23.1 lbs
|
225 VR-1 is not set to be released until later in the year.

Any plans to test these against the popular rival s 225 on 9's combo? God I hope they are slower......hate to have to make the switch mid season.
Informally at COTA over the weekend, and more scientifically today at Harris Hill Raceway. Going tomorrow for another round done differently. We'll also do autocross testing (on an STR NB Miata) in a couple of weeks, along with yet another track test once I get the KMiata running again. 245's on 9's and 10's. 205's on 8's. Big thanks to Emilio for helping out on the wheel thing...again. :bigtu: Subscribe to GRM for the earliest info (June issue available in May). |

this is pretty much going to become the go to wheel/tire setup :likecat:
|
I hope Maxxis is prepared, and i hope that more tire manufacturers follow.

I'm just going to have to take a flyer and hope that they'll be at least as good as the current crop of 225's and believe in my butt-dyno (until those reviews do come out - whereupon I will celebrate my astuteness, or cry in my beer). |
