Ordered. Install scheduled for post OK.
<photo>
It's asymmetrical and sit much further forward. Miata is 13ft long so there's plenty of room for two nose-to-tail and some work space.

Wow!
Nice work Rob.
A video of the car running will be the icing on that cake.
Glad to see this coming to fruition.
BTW; love that garage. Envy your skills and future lift.

Yep- if you're in the city, you test. I'm impressed at the results given I paid $200 for the engine and it's got at least one bad oil ring.
Plan is to put down a large pad- 3 ft. concrete border with paver inset. It's part of the back yard landscape plan and will work well to tie in the house and the garage. Need to get the cars, tools, lift and junk in before that starts so I can get to work.
The new Miata is a lot like the crusher- it has at least one corner from another Miata. Makes it less like a trophy and more like a tool.

pinnacle moment
Progress-
Grabbed five all-steel industrial 9x3x2 shelving units off CL for $20 each. Got the wall behind four of them insulated, covered and painted and turned the fifth into a 6x2 work surface. Got all the junk that was on the floor and tools in a spot. Then finally drove BOTH cars in. Good place to be with a large project due in 6 weeks- probably can't touch a car until that's over.

Sigma 15-30 DG @ 15mm. It's an OK lens for what I paid 8 yrs ago ~$450, but there are way better lenses for that cash now. Back then there was nothing that wide except a Canon L $,$$$. It's soft at anything under F11. These were F5.6, but it's OK since they're reduced.
