Noted, probably will order ms3x parts and ff 610's and get it installed on the car as is now. Also someone local to me had a miata for 100$ up on CL, running and driving 1990. Post was up for 6 hours before the car was sold, I missed out on a damn good deal...
i did the ms3x and 610cc injectors. you wont regret it. if you ran e85 you would be limited on injectors but not on 93. Order a honda intake from 4gordeev while your are at it.

Stop giving me ideas, I need to keep the price down and graduate HS first

GT500's ordered, Ms3 daughter board, eXpansion card, and new case is all I need to convert my ms1 right? I will be redoing all the harnesses so no BOB necessary

Gonna do mustang injectors and FF adapters? That's what Chris and I are doing. We went halfsies on a full set of the injector take offs from a v8 mustang. Cost 200 bucks for 8 injectors!
I have an ms1 already. I should just be able to buy the ms3 daughter board and upgrade it. I know the wiring will take a while. Ms3 basic can control vvt right? Ms3x might not be in the budget
No, Buy the regular MS3, it saves you $100. Then build all the circuits yourself. Unless you are an accomplished point to point analog circuit wiring guy, it should only take you 10-15 hours. You'll be done before you know it.

I saw you did it without the expansion board, major props to you!
Going to pick up the vvt motor tomorrow, removing the passenger seat and putting it on the floor. Will bring tools to separate block from head if necessary
NB2 motor is home, 2002 with 80k on it. GT500 injectors should be here by Tuesday, I will be installing them on the current engine, maybe upping the boost to 13-14 psi. Next purchase will be the MS3x, then I will spend a week or two converting the car to MS3x, hopefully utilizing all the goodies. I'll probably tear into this motor late april-early may, aiming to have it done by July 1st.
I know I'll need a few NB2 harness connectors for things like the vvt solenoid and the crank sensor.
Car felt very bouncy on the 3 hour drive home, well worth it though.
Also should I track down a set of NB2 coils or switch to COPs?
