I agree that they are super cool. But to me it is a luxury. 6 ton jack stands will do the trick for me.

Sunday: Strip auction car
Tuesday: install auto zone pads and 1.8 brakes
Thursday: pack for thunderhill
Friday: Leave for thunderhill

Spend all other available time not doing car things lol.
50 a pair on amazon. Not bad.
Just went and looked. I inherited a pair of those (Craftsman) from my dad. Still in the original boxes, I think they were used once, maybe twice. Also have a pair of the smaller (3 ton?, also Craftsman), and I have no idea what to do with them.

Just two. And shipping all the way across the country would be killer, as those things are heavy.

I'm sure you will find a use for them eventually. Or cl.

I've got the harbor freight 2 ton transmission jack, that thing will lift the miata 32" in the air in one stroke, assuming I drive up on blocks first.

I need taller jackstands still, to use all 30". I can't see getting one of those scissor lift things when I've got this.

This fcker' here, paid for itself many times over. Don't know how many transmissions I've done in S10's and Blazers by myself with this beast. Miata was easy, super easy.

Ew. 300. I'd rather just bench press.

Yes, he is my long lost twin. We have been searching for each other since birth. Oddly enough, the universe has kept our lives parallel.

Haha, pretty much. Crazy how small the internet can seem sometimes.

I think you can score that trans jack for less than $240 or so every now and again, I think I might have bought one of the last orange ones on sale or something.

/\ 20% off coupon.

Its a good deal Aidan, see what any other brand of one of those costs.

But it doesn't matter how good of a deal it is if it doesn't work for you.

I built a wooden cradle, and then bolted it to the top of my regular jack. Add a ratchet strap for good measure. Cost, almost nothing. Works just fine.

I did basically the same thing, but like a man... with metal...

My woodworking skills are well established. My welding, however, is not. I don't trust it when the chips are down. Plus, scrap lumber & salvaged lag bolts = free.

Lulz. Glad we got it done. Hopefully these speakers are awesomesauce. The awesomest saucest I needed.

Good luck at thunderhill man.

6spd with good engine mounts Is way more precise than any 5spd I've driven. You'll love it once you get used to it

Good as in AWR? Or Mazda motorsports? I see what you mean by precise. I'll give it time. Not going back to a 5.speed for sure.
