There's a passport 9500ix on craigslist right now for 225. Hmmm.

Default Community build thread...Aidan occasionally does the things

I am a huge fan of the V1! Mine paid for itself 10 times over in my WRX. The only time I got a ticket was when I chose to ignore 2 warnings from it. I was driving in traffic and got 11 mph over (flowing with rush hour FML). Anyways, I have picked up speed traps for ridiculous distances, driving up hills when they are on the other side, even a few pop radar settings from a distance. 100% worth the $450 IMHO.

Anything other than a Valentine One and you're wasting your money, IMHO.
Dying cop? Got a slight single misfire on an uphill. Hope its only one. Might try and find a junkyard nearby.
No time to search. Just stopped at the border.

COP pigtail wire just broke with no room left to solder to. This is going to be interesting.

Free the pins from the connector, feed them over the contacts in the cop directly, should give you room to solder on the stub of the broken terminal, maybe.

Still on 3 cylinders. Bought a soldering iron. Going to try and fix it when we get there. Still about 40 miles away.

You're driving it 40 miles on 3 cylinders? Not gonna have much of a cat left when you get there, I suspect...

Oregonian here. What's a cat?
25 minutes to go. I think I can expose enough of the connector to make it work. At least for a bit. Need to get to a power source though.

A pigtail would be ideal I've pm'd Vlad cuz I know he knows some nor cal guys but anybody who can help would be greatly appreciated. I would even drive a ways to pick something up.

These are Toyota COPs? If so, Savington probably has connectors at his shop in Santa Clara, but it's 180 miles down here from Willows. Sacramento is only half that far.

Google says there's a pick-n-pull in Chico, which is about 30 miles northeast of Willows.
