Yes, it is going to get built sooner than later, adn well swap it in. the 1.6 will be a spare or ill part it out. rings arnt sealing up on that stupid ---- motor.

We decided to buy it, why wouldnt we. I guess the tittle is in the mail to the guy im buying it from, from the PO who is supposedly a family friend or employee or something. Once they get it and notarize it, car is ours. Maybe next tuesday or wednesday. So its not final yet, but as long as no one flakes well have a 94 next week, and the tear down shall commence.

Why no track?

 

It might not be the rings. How many miles are on it so far? Have you beat on it some? What oil are you running? What hone did you use on the block? Did you scrub the cylinder bores with a sponge/brush and soap and water after honing it?

Could just be taking longer than normal to seat the rings, or could be something else entirely.
