As the guy who maintains the machines that process raw letter mail for the post office, I can attest to this. The amount of stuff that people think they can ship in envelopes is maddening. I find 20+ flash drives a day for starters; never mind the liquid sample stuff, and holiday times, especially valentines day...

Let me just say that every letter, for starters, has to bend around a 12" diameter pulley. If what youre sending cant be flexed like that, especially without stabbing through the envelope, then it shouldn't be sent in an envelope.

Having said that a small flat rate box is $5.95 and comes with $50 insurance and tracking...

Good explanation Andrew. I've never experienced that but if you have then I understand why you charge that. I didn't mean any offence or hard feelings toward you.

+1 for not getting customer parts lost. Me personally wouldn't fault you for any of that, but I can understand your frustration if others do.

Also FWIW TSE has the cheapest prices for this part of anywhere I can find, including shipping. Sorry if my initial post came off negatively towards you.

Thats a little overkill. A bubble wrap envelope for those fittings should come in around $1.40.

I feel like the pictures of the practical EGT bung and twin disc clutch override some of my rice.

I lifted my truck some more today.

Maybe I'll switch to electric steering.

I'm excited to log EGTs something I need to learn more about.

Car goes up on jackstands soon, going to fab exhaust. Pull downpipe to weld it all up then pull the trans.

Ordered new rear wheel bearings to replace while the rear spindles are off the car. $22 each from rockauto for Timken.

Decided the front hub can wait. I have 4 working front hubs and will just pack a spare for now.
