Aidan's loose oily bunghole actually runs a track lap
Spend a ton on a ring. It's worth it in the long run for many reasons, but it's specifically important if you're a car guy. Spending a miata's worth on a ring keeps them from truly digging into your car spending habits.

I honestly have no issue spending $$$ on a ring. A lot of you know how absurdly cheap I can be, so it's saying something. She never wants expensive things outside of this, and she has always been awesome about not being an "expensive" girlfriend. Its just a matter of picking the right one. I know it will at least be a Miata, maybe 2. If we're using Miatas as units of $$ now.
HA! April is in love with her ring, she's incredibly picky about her jewelry, and it only cost ~$1400. If it's spendy it's either a shitty store or a giant diamond. Girls usually fall in love with the design/mounting of the ring, not the size of the diamond.

She's all about the design. She actually wants a morganite, because the design and ring she wants would be like $6k+ with diamonds. Always picking the cheaper option, that's why I love her

How much rust, and does it run?
I really think tires make a better yardstick for this. For one they're pretty much the same shape, for another they've got less variability in price.
How many sets of Rivals are we talking about?

Can't even buy rivals anymore though.
General shitbox NA6 price seems to be $1500 to $2000. Of course you get deals here and there but that's what I see up here.

When I bought my car I had to explain the difference between asking and sale price to several people. Everyone who doesn't know cars thinks that because theirs runs, its in "perfect mechanical condition" Fortunately, the guy I ended up buying it from didn't have pie in the sky ideas about what it was worth.
1 stock NA = $3000 on average.

Thats if you want a decent car. You are forgetting the baseline.
Red. 200k. NA6.
If you pay $3k for that you are retarded.
I don't believe there is an annual cost adjustment yet.
We really need to get emilio in here. He was the one who mentioned using miata's as units of cost. Thats what got me started on it.
