Did more boost control tuning. Here is the final product. I have put hours and hours into tuning this boost control and just can't get it do do exactly what I want.

On the other hand, having a boost switch is pretty sweet. Wastegate maxes at 4.7 psi, but is normally around 3.5. Switch on = 10psi all the way across the board.

What do you know, someone on Ebay sent me the wrong part...never would have guessed. The original oil cooler I bought was sent with an extra set of "M22"-AN10 fittings. Went to screw them in today....and they weren't M22. New set ordered. But the car is sitting until they show up.

Awesome ebay seller refunded me for sending the wrong fittings

Hopefully the fittings will get here in time for me to get the car back together for my dyno session on Sunday.

I mean, do you really need an oil cooler for a dyno session?

No, but there isn't any oil in the engine right now. And I don't want to fill it up, then drain it out when the fittings get here. Worst case, I'll pull off the thermostat plate and everything but right now everything is installed except the fittings.

Does anyone have the install instructions for the thermostat plate? I need torque values for the center nut, and for the adapter fittings with the dowty seals.

Useful Saved Posts - Miata Turbo Forum - Turbo Kitten is watching you test compression. ? You may need to dig, there are lots of old and expired links in some of those sections.

Torque spec for the nut should be in there somewhere. If I was at home I could look it up in my engine assembly manual.

If you are using the forum search feature I got news for you son...

Ahh, thought you were asking for the torque value on the big nut.

Where did the plate come from? Can you call the vendor and get instructions and specs?

Paging Savington? Don't want to email him, I didn't buy it from him.

Sent an email to Racer Parts Wholesale, will report back.

Can you even fit a torque wrench on them?

I thought the AN10 fittings were BPP, not BSP? They have rubber sealing washers, right?
