Getting the correct table values is a huge part of tuning. You're also wasting an ignition column, where 5233 and 5600 are nearly identical. You could get rid of that column and put it else where. But again, knowing where to put it requires lots of dyno tuning.

As we mentioned on the dyno, this is partly why the Hydra is so nice. Need an extra column? Boom, done. MS4 better have something like that.

Maybe if I get flex fuel figured out and need to go back to the dyno I can play with that ahead of time. Little things that I just didn't think about or know could make all the difference.

props for tables.
is bias duty one = initial value?
our firmwares are different methinks. I've been using OL boost control so far, and it's been ok so far, only overshoots and hits cut on a cold night in 5th or 6th, but need to dial in CL boost, this is a good starting point.

I'm running beta firmware. They changed to an Ideal PID strategy, where the bias (initial) table is taken into account for all of the calculations. In the old firmware (what you're running) the initial value was only used to start the calculations. I'm having some issues with it and I'm not sure if its my problem or the software. I'm trying to work through it over on MSextra.

If it turns out its software and not just my suckage at tuning then the new method is going to be pretty awesome. If its as hard for everyone else to get running as it has been for me. Then idk.

Manifold needs to be pulled, milled, and new exhaust gasket added. Also going to cut more relief cuts in the flange. But this all won't happen until I've moved back to Portland. The leak is teeny, and probably only happens every once in a while. Nothing to be worried about yet.

I had massive issues until I cut between the front two and rear two runners.

I really enjoy my Star Specs. I ran them on my WRX for a number of track days. I also have them on my Miata. However, didn't they stop making those a few years ago? What is the date on them? I was just talking about this with my cousin this week. My star spec z1 are getting low on tread, but we were more concerned about their age.

Idk but they grip awesome. And when they lose grip its really subtle and controllable.

About a year ago, ZII replaced ZI Star Spec. Then this year, they brought back the Star Spec in the ZII. At Tire Rack

They could be as little as 2-3 years old. I'd run 'em. I still have a set on the MX6.

But how do they handle off-road?

Had a good mail day a couple days ago:

ABS hub for traction control, IAC valve (Thanks Jeff!!), cheap ebay AN wrench, and ABS for ducting.

Here is the start of my ducting, it connects to my intercooler and bumper, and will seal with some duct tape to the radiator. Still need to build the side pieces.

Also going to make an expanded steel grille for the road I think. My intercooler is getting pretty beat up. Going to mount it and my foglights to some sort of removable mount for the track.

Gotta love discount tire. Blew out my 35 inch MTR and got a brand new one for the cost of a drive to Portland, and $30 to renew the warranty.

Still working on EBC but I finally got it to stay relatively the same in 48* and 80* ambient temps, which I wasn't able to before. You can track my struggles if you are interested here.
