Aidan's loose oily bunghole actually runs a track lap
pics blocked at work, so can't pics in #9679, but I've had this happen before. it was a 93 so no vics, no vtcs, and nothing else.
ve map was fine for about a year or two, then all of a sudden developed a lean spot around the same rpm range, but at full boost. throwing fuel at it totally helped/solved it. never did figure out exactly what happened (he had many other issues he's still working through) but my guess would be related to fpr/pulse dampener.
this is a very specific issue on 08+ sti's when the OEM moved to a crappy cheap fpr+pulse dampener all in one, causing a very specific lean spot from resonance in the fuel system. dunno if related, but symptoms sound almost identical

which is exactly what the sti's experience. cruise/part throttle. so much that the OEM ecu has a specific fuel compensation table for it. I dunno, just spitting out ideas
are your fuel pulse dampers still in place?

Oh I missed the added bit about the STI. I'll get some logs of it soon with fuel pressure, but its not dropping or anything.
Those people are wrong. Leakdown procedure is from the FAA and it's 80psi through an .040" orifice for bore sizes under 5.00".

Yes that. Tick marks got associated with %.
Seals arrive tomorrow. Probably will get everything stripped down tonight and ready to install.

I had a similar odd VE region, Radium damper seemed to fix it. I didn't see nearly the spike you have there.
i had a resonance in the hardline at idle that sounded like rod knock before the damper as well.
AEM adjustable FPR, DW 200, ID 850 at 3 bar, large fuel rail, single feed dual return through an6, MS2 with incorporate AFR, 40um reusable inline filter, 2um spin on water separator, hinged check valve on feed side
edit: add fuel filter details

Man, I don't know about your weather down in Oregon but I'm ******* sick of constant gray up in Seattle. That **** gets me even more depressed than I usually am. I'm just glad it's finally warm and sunny up here, we've had a rainy *** fall, winter, and spring.
101 on the other hand is getting on the toasty side lol
