Thanks! My list o things to do is still growing but at a much slower rate. I need to:
get the coolant outlet modified
find a plug for the oil pump
tq the exhaust manifold
get seals for the injectors
put engine and transmission in
wire up the engine
bolt everything else back on
make it work

Not so bad

So I have accumulated everything I need to finish but missed the finish date by a large amount. On the plus side we got the bun out of the oven. Now that we are in the groove of being parents I am going to start on finishing the car. Pics of said progress

Fixed! On a down note we went to put the engine in and couldn't find the flywheel bolts so we put the engine in place so I can finish the wiring...going to have pics tomorrow.

Got some things on to see where I am going to place this amphenol. Need to put in the coolant reroute and then I will be sure where this thing is going. Here how the bay is looking now (I keep thinking the engine is too far forward but it's on the mounts...maybe it's just me):

Looks pretty? Also it was relatively inexpensive jives with the hood:

I don't think it will do **** for my comfort but the leftover material will be used on/in the tunnel.

Thanks mang

No pics for this update yet. Sunday we finished installing the clutch, flywheel, and 6 speed plus the engine is mounted. The injectors have their appropriate rubber and are mounted. I also targeted where the amphenol (which is going to be under the heater core lines) and am actually going to start wiring the engine. I also forgot that I have an oil temp sensor so I am going to have to install it the hard way :(

Now I need to find a manual speedo gear for the 6 speed (4.1 for now), get vacuum lines with firesleeves, get one longer water line, get the valve cover modified, wire up the engine, and install everything else.

Build is looking great so far. One little detail though... you might want to reconsider using Super Blue brake fluid. It works well and the boiling point is pretty high, but it will stain every single thing it touches blue forever. We usually use Motul RBF 600 or 660 at work, nice high boiling point and doesn't stain every damn thing blue.

Other than that, it looks fabulous. I'm impressed with the whole brake reroute.
