build thread (TII drivetrain swap, built motor, cage, widebody, blah blah)
^Dude, MightyMouse hasn't logged in for over a month. You can tell by clicking on his name and looking in his user profile. You might try sending him a PM... if he's got his profile set up to email him when somebody PM's him.
Haven't been working on the miata because I've been working on my other car- it needed an overhaul, and since it's my DD it took priority. Anyways, I finished it up. Here's a shot if it:

Alex, I posted all the specs about the adapter in the build thread. Read through it again. No idea about hp numbers on the 6 speed as I'm not using one. I got the clutch from clutchnet. Call them and explain what you want and they'll take care of the rest. This setup will be more or less bulletproof in a miata (I'm hoping) as it came out of a heavier car whith more hp from the factory. Plus there are FC guys putting down 350hp on the stock tranny with no issues.

back from the dead. So the jeep is done, I'm a happily married man and I've been to Hawaii. Time to start focusing on the miata again. I'm a little torn about what to do though. Looking for opinions.
What I have remaining:
1. fab up downpipe, exhaust
2. redo intercooler piping (didn't like the way it turned out)
3. order megasquirt
4. paint/bodywork
5. buy battery
6. misc. ods and ends (oil feed line is too long, route vacuum lines, couple wiring issues, etc)
7. fill with fluids
I'm almost there, but am getting worried about engine break in with all the new stuff. I am toying with the idea of buying an OEM, or dare I say it, one of those crappy ebay headers for the sole purpose of breaking in the engine and making sure all my wiring changes actually work, then once the motor is broken in, put the turbo stuff back on and head to the dyno. I still have the 1.6l injectors and ECU, and I'm sure I could rig up something to get me by for an exhaust. Thoughts?

Just fab up something to go between the manifold you have and the downpipe you are fabbing. Probably a simple 90 with the right flanges should do the trick. Doesn't need to be fancy... What is the point again? why not just keep your foot out of it, or wire the wg open?
Just a little hesitant to break the motor in on a standalone ECU with a turbo, just looking for opinions on what others have done.
I finally have something worth writing down! I recently towed the car to my house so I can start working on it again. Here's it's new home:

I'm still in the unpacking/organizing stage, so it's a bit of a mess in there. I picked up some 17s to use as rollers so when the cars at the exhaust and body shops I won't have to worry about them being damaged/stolen

Anyways, I'm excited to get back into it, it's been far too long!

Why 4 bar map? You plan on running 50 PSI?
Also you have your turbo clocked wrong. The oil feed and drain need to be perpendicular to the ground or as close as possible.
Good job on the tranny and diff swap. Looks good.

what do you mean? I have the feed on top and the return on the bottom, the water lines are coming in and out from the sides.
