What tires were you running?
I was running the exact same toyo r888's that where on the red turbo car that hit the wall.
The tyres sat around for a year, i put them on the turbo car as i didn't want to wear out the tyres on the 9" rims. Hit the wall on the first flying lap. Now they have sat for another year and a bit, put them on, 1st lap hit the wall. They seem really good, and give you a lot of confidence, but don't hold on when you really need them. So they have done 2 half laps in 2 years and wrecked two cars.

Nah, keep 'em till you get in a full track sesh without tanking it. Can't let the tires win.

**** man. You do some great god damn work!

Have you seriously thought about doing this as a career? Is it something you enjoy and would the time/material/effort be worth it for you to start making these for sale?

I'm almost more than sure you could sell quite a bit of cf parts. From exterior to interior, you could do just about anything it seems.

Keep up the great work man! Looking forward to seeing this thing finished and all put together.

I have thought of doing this full time. But i already have a fulltime job - stay at home dad. When the kids get older i will be able to spend more time doing this. They are only 22 and 2 months old. Yes it's the outer skin, and the doorhandle does not work. There will be a rod going up to the top of the door that you push to open the door. Door handles are too heavy.

Sound was a little wonky, but he did more warm up than I ever do. That track looks outrageously dangerous.

That was weird. Its like they just decided to not give you any traction all of a sudden. I'm not saying this is what happened or that you're a noob or anything, but it almost looks like you just locked up the brakes coming out of the turn.

That's one way to get rid of your 7K resonance.

The sound is always **** on that camera. As for the slide it really just let go and didn't want to come back. You can see the first twitch, and then it comes back. I am used to that, and it happens on half the laps i do around there, but not that 2nd big slide it goes into. I didn't lock the brakes (has abs), i wasn't even braking after i got it into the corner.

Dam that course has no room for error... That should have been a gravel trap there in areas of a slippery grass run-off

Looks like you grabbed the left rumble strip as the rear tire bounced while you were on the gas.

I would honestly never race there, and if I had to, it would never be above 6 or 7/10 of my speed, way too dangerous. Is that just me?

Are there any other tracks around your area? Say...Melbourne?
