Intake Cam looks good, Exhaust cam looks a tooth off. Also you need to get the Crank on TDC. To hold the 2 cam gears in place put a 24mm open ended wrench on both gears and use vice grips to hold them together in place. Makes getting everything lined up easy.

Then go back around 1 and 5/6th turns until the little notch is at the mark about about 10pm. Then let the tensioner pulley loose and that should be at the correct tensions.

There is a correct spec of how tight the Timing belt should be. The factory manual can tell you what exactly it is and what not. I just know that going around 1 and 5/6 turns and loosening and tightening the tensioner is the way to get the correct tension. While I have done timing belts with just tensioning it right after timing is correct, it can't hurt to do it the correct way.

The intake cam is off big time. When it snaps into place, the markings are like 5 teeth forward. I tried adjusting them to fit the belt, but is just stupid they arent supposed to, right?

oh well im done for today :

Make sure the cam gear is on the cam right. I messed up and had them on wrong and my engine wouldn't start. Very thankful we don't have interference engine
