i mean, i zinged myself.

 

a few of my buddies use diesel oil to break in engines and change it out to regular synthetic oil after. use a heavy oil to get the oil pressure high off the bat.... this oil is only going to last an hour or 2 (4-5 heat cycles)

im too lazy to go back in the thread... but this is only used on new cams, bottom ends etc....

So Regular 10w30 it is.

 

no. rotella t synthetic. you can buy a gallon at discount auto for like 20 bucks

 

Make sure you check to see if you get 4 or 5 quarts though cause your engine will blow up

 

i bought a gallon of Rotella synth, and then I bought four quarts of Mobil 1 synth. When I got home I dumped the Mobil 1, and refilled the bottles with Rotella synth. I will not be owned by overfilling shenanigans.

 

Dipsticks aren't for checking oil they are for crankcase ventilation
