Damn, where was that picture when I needed it earlier? I may have to rethink my design and go with the bumper cut out that you did...looks like sex!!! Can you give me some details on the cut. Better yet, some close up pics of the project!

You follow the same profile as the stock muffler exit "n", and then cut across. Pretty simple and pretty, especially for those of us with center exits, left exits, dual exhaust, or without mufflers.

UPS was here today, and dropped off my exhaust parts that I had sent off to Swain for coating. I am very happy with the quality of their work, the first shot is an attempt to show the thickness of the ceramic thermal coating.

I will need to do a little house keeping and clean up a few areas. I am a little concerned about the external surfaces of the v-bands being coated. Hopefully, it does not change the fitment of the v band clamps.

k-pro is now available for the f20 as well. and much much easier to use than AEM.

That's not going to start chipping off eventually is it? Looks like it might start peeling. That white looks sweet too

Love the coating thickness. Kind of surprised at their lack of edge detail/cleanup.

As with any coating there is the possibility that it may eventually start flaking off, that is why you don't coat the inside of the manifold. Swain has a great reputation, so I feel confident that their product will last.

I have a friend running k-pro on his s2000 race car, and it was a major pain in the *** to get right... we had to change out several of the sensors jus to get the thing to think about running.

AEM is a good product, I have no concerns about using it.

I was surprised too, I detailed all the edges with a fine file, it took about 30 minutes to get it all cleaned up. I was also surprised that they coated the v-band flange, it made it pretty hard to get the clamps on but they are on now.

Spent some time out in the garage tonight.
