what a ******* BEAST! After just seeing that jump from 80-110 in a split second made my body tingle in naughty ways.

I'd throw 9's all around and just run NT01's on the street. They might be coming out with a 245/15 next year.

Sounds so beautiful in that latest video, wow! I bet you're enjoying that gearbox much more than the Miata's.

Thanks guys, I am trying to convince myself that I like the sleeper look and don't need the flares but I know that I am just kidding myself.

Had the car out today driving down to Invesco Field, was messing around with a buddy who was driving down to the stadium also, and the car broke the tires loose at the top of 3rd, that's about 95 mph...of course it was only 35 degrees out. I am going to have to breakdown an get wheels and tires.

So I put a little weight into the car over the weekend. I put in some some sound deadening material (fat cat extreme) 80mm thick...what a pain in the ***, but well worth it, the car is much much quiter now, and I only added 17 pounds. Will have to take the camera out next time I go for a fun run. We have Santa Claus run that I plan on participating in a couple of weeks.

lol 17lbs.

Who gives a **** man. Add as much weight to it as you want to. Car makes more than enough power even if you added on 500lbs.
I say make it as enjoyable as you can. Sound deadening, chassis stiffening (rails/arms/etc), the works.

bumper looks great btw

What tires/wheels are you running now? Have you decided on your upgrade?

Thanks, I really like the new look the bumper provides. Weight is the devil, the devil I say. It eats hp for breakfast. The lighter a car is the better it oerforms, all else being equal. Believe it or not, even with the power I make I can tell a difference when I put someone in the passenger seat.

Running 15X7 7 inch 30mm off set left over from my spec miata project. Rubber is 205 50 kumho ecsta ast. They are overwhelmed at WOT below 60mph, and on colder days I have had tire spin at the top of 3rd (about 95). I think I will be going with 275 40 17 tucked under AWR flares. I have not decided on a wheel yet.

Aggh that does not sound like fun. Wheelspin in 1st and 2nd is supposed to warm up the tires for 3rd :(

How much boost are you seeing at redline?

Garrett 3582 turbo, 12 pounds at 9000 rpm. But remember I am running stock compression ratio 11:1

The wheel spin is not that bad, and it only happens at the top of 3rd if it is cold out...below 40 outside.

There's always 15x9 6ULs.. and you wouldn't need a flare with those. But I understand you want a more aggressive look, so something with more neg offset is probably more your thing.

Given any thought to what make/model you're going to run in that size? I thought it was only R-comps available.

In a 15 inch tire you're right, but I plan on running a 17, not sure on a tire yet.

I just don't think I will find a 15 that will hold the power and allow spirited driving in the curves.
