In fact, a little on the rich side, which is fine.

I know I keep saying this, but IT'S SO MUCH FUNNNNNNN

Today I trolled a modded 05 WRX Wagon. Little home-boyz in flat brimmed hats and it was insane loud, so probably "stage2" or something. The best part was when they finally pull up to the next light and his passenger is like "damnnnnnnnnnnn, what's done to that thing, it flies!!!"

I smile and say "intake and exhaust"

PS: the look on their face as I'm passing and flat-foot-shift right in front of their window, shooting a nice flame - PRICELESS

Who woulda thunk a miata could be this much fun?
It's fun! I was tuning a couple days before a piston had a bad day, and I took off at 2K in 3rd and as soon as I did I hear this car TAKE OFF. Apparently there was a C6 Z06 beside me. I wasn't driving, I was in passengers seat tuning, friend was driving. We just let it rip through 3rd till 7500, hit 4th. Got him by about 1.5 car links. WI was working fine, fuel was ok. He just kept looking over and seeing my car slowly pulling on his, the guys face was sooooo funny! He was in disbelief. To be honest I sort of was, 4 cylinder miatas aren't known for low end power.

So yes miatas can be a ton of fun! Surprising people makes it that much MORE fun.

HA!
Well yeah, when you got a mammoth twin screw strapped to the side of it, the BP makes quite some torque. Pulling away from a c6 z06 is seriously fast though, those cars trap 120+

I'd love to see your car on a dyno or at least the quarter mile track

Once I get the new motor broke in, it's going on a dyno. Hoping to break 200whp.

To be honest it's only making 20 PSI, I keep having belt slip. If it would stop slipping I would have more boost, and then the option to drop 2 pulleys and make more. I've tried damn near everything to reduce belt slip, will be trying a different tensioner setup next, I honestly don't think it's going to help but it's about the only thing I haven't tried short of coating the pulley or rip cutting the pulley. I'd like to get the belt slip fixed so I can get the final tune done on the dyno, but we'll see. I'm curious what it's making as well.

It was a joke, I'm expecting it to make a bit more than 200whp. It's not making full power right now (well technically motor is in pieces, making zero RIGHT now) but I've been battling belt slip and it will only make 20 PSI right now. It should be higher, probably 24-25 with this pulley setup, and if I could get the belt to not slip, I could drop a couple pulleys and get boost closer to 30, which is my target boost. But I've tried about a dozen things and so far 20 PSI is all I've gotten out of it.

I enjoyed my freshly tuned car for a week before I tore it apart again.
