I've been fiddling with TS and familiarizing myself with it, hoping to give it a go as soon as I come back from Vacation on the 15th

He's a good friend of mine, I know the car well, so there was no funny business. Runs were legitimate and no one messed up.

Right after the runs we went to my house and I did comp test:
100 150 150 100

Even if my HF tester is off, that's still a huge variation and the engine is on its last legs. The weird thing though is it sounds great, eats no oil, emits no smoke, and basically acts like nothing is wrong. The owner is on here btw, screen name: Hump

My car as it is right now, has nothing more than an intake. MS3 installed, not connected.
I do also think that my car is quick, for being stock. Its a babied 1 owner engine with 80k on it. Underhood looks almost brand new.

 

Awesome, yeah I'd agree based on those compression test results. My HF gauge is definitely off (reads 150's psi on healthy motors, several different motors I've tested) but if there is that big of a variance that is your red flag.

You should get some good datalogs once the MS is installed and tuned well so we can run em through virtual dyno and see what kind of n/a whp this beast is putting down.

The runs were really fun and Vlad's car runs incredibly well, hopefully by the end of this year mine will be up to snuff with a rebuild. Forged rods and a bigger turbo setup- then we can run again!

edit:Fireindc- if my car was running perfect it'd be around 200whp on this setup, but who knows with the compression issues. The MSM ECU is also RETARDED and only allows you to run full power after 5k rpms even though full boost is made at 3.5k. So lame :(

Again, mine has low compression in two cylinders and I'm not sure how much slower it is than a mint condition MSM. Have you ever ridden in one? The ECU totally ruins the performance.

Usually MSM's feel just like a normal NB until about 5k and then the ECU stops choking the system and you get a 1.5k afterburner and then you have to shift. It sucks hard. MS2 is the best mod I have purchased by far.

Seriously though: of the dozens of pics I ever posted up of my cars there are like 2 that are hdr, and all of a sudden all my pictures are hdr. I don't even take pics, besides the crappy point&shoot ones posted every now and then of engine bay and parts (and the above).

The nice pics from photoshoots are all local photo guys. I can't tell em what to do. I just thank em for takin pics of my cars
