Brain just had me check the jumpers on the main board and looks like 1 of them is missing.

I really hope that's the only thing missing on my MS3, and is the cause of this. Because it looks easy to fix.

 

MS3 is mad because stoopidcharger... Again, give me it once you're done with it lol

Anywho,
The jumper I thought was missing was actually on the other side of the board, hiding under a cpu of some sort, so we're back to square ONE of not knowing what in the crap is wrong with this thing.

It hooks up fine. It powers on fine. It adjusts and shows gauges fine. Everything is FINE!!

......except it does not get a crank/cam signal no matter what, and therefore won't even fire up

Everything seems to work great otherwise

Going to try adjusting the dashpots yet again today, if that doesn't work it goes back to Brain, for the 2nd time

Trying to diagnose and troubleshoot my improperly constructed (not saying yours is) MS1 was the most awfullest suck I dealt with during my first build.

That was like 6 years ago, so long ago that it was built by KingofL33t...

It was so shitty in fact that it caused me to abandon MS altogether and I ran my sh*t on band-aids for years instead...right up until it blew up.

Anyway, keep with it

 

the MS was built "properly," the crank/cam sensors not registering is baffling me and we are working through email to try to recitfy.

 

I think I fixed it

 

So what was it?!?!

 

Dashpots on the boards not turned up enough I guess.
Scott had me re-do them to his specs and it didn't work.
Then he told me to turn r11 once and just keep turning r56 up 1 turn at a time and trying to start it....That's what I did and just got it to start twice.

Its running rough, and dying after a few seconds, but I can handle all that. IT RUNS!!

 

 

I wasn't implying that it was, not even a tiny bit.

My MS1 built by KingofL33t was built improperly, and trying to diagnose it was a real pain in the ****.
