hustler's "driver shame" thread
Are you running fuel additives? Is the shape of the vales still original? Are they all uniformly coloured? If all yes, then probably no worries.
Are you seriously lean? Is your WBO2 calibrated?
No. Back when men were men, and fuel was made from the pure blood of virgins, it would have meant that you were running way too lean. Nowadays with all of the additives they throw in, it means nothing.

Thanks guys. I was running Texaco/Chevron/Techron fuel. My WBO2 matched the Mustang's LM-1 perfectly, and the DD'd PLX prior to that perfectly. I cruise at 15.1, and hit between 11.5-11.8 at 11.5psi. I was just looking through the exhaust ports and each exhaust valves looks to be round and all valves are uniform in color. The turbine is that "plastic bag" brown color too. I'm accustomed to seeing gray valves, not white.

no. After stories of them melting ang getting eaten by turbines, I changed my mind. I also don't know that I can bring myself to drill a hole in my mainfold that will certainly leak. I have between 24-28* advance at 15psi running 11.5:1...how can my AFR possibly be "too high?"

I'm also putting in the TDR seats and door bars this weekend.
My machinist is drilling the bolts as we speak, they're getting wired with Inconel wire, then I'm going to street the car for a week, check the bolts, track it, then disassemble the turbo and see what happened.

my garage neighbor builds guitars in his wood-shop and all the dust comes over, and he leaves the radio on the country station so I have to listen to white-trash sing about how they love their momma and miss their dog:

but I did the "real water temp" cluster retrofit today

thought about taking apart my RX7 clutch diff, but became annoyed and moved on

I really need this diff for the track, bad. I basically have no LSD action unless pointed straight/gay-ly forward
and put my Absurdflow stuff half way together awaiting the CHRA delivery on Friday:
