Prepping for turbo build

I'm actually happy my head blew when it did, it has been raining off an everyday for the past couple weeks.
Good results man, 220 across the board is gonna be fun.

So I've had an intermittent tach for a while and I knew exactly where the problem was, I just never was motivated enough to tackle re-soldering connections. The loose connection was in the cop harness at the igniter plug. The gutted igniter is a little haggard looking but I disconnected one wire at a time and re soldered it to the connection where it originally was. I figured this was the best way since I didn't make the harness so I would have been in the dark if I had to reconnect them all at once. I did the soldering at my computer desk, put the harness back in and I now have tach! Hopefully it keeps behaving!

Anyone have suggestions for a decently priced tire with good summer performance? Will be mostly Street driving maybe an occasional autox or track day in the fall but I'm not even sure yet. Won't ever be driven in the rain because I have the daily so wet performance is not a deciding factor. Also I'd like to stay in the sub $100/ corner range
If you can run Star-SpecII's that is what I would be dailying. Second choice is BFG Comp-2 but I can't compare to S-drives which were my second choice based on reviews I read.
Unfortunately star-specs were not available for my size when I was in the market for them.

I keep getting the S-Drive suggestion ... Hmmm I might go that route. They are pretty affordable and a lot of people seem to swear by them. Anything would be better than my Falken 912 All Season tires at this point lol

Ended up going with the Federal RS-R's ... $350 shipped seemed like a deal and I read some reviews and sounds like they will be perfect for what I'm looking at with street/ track day once in a blue moon use. I just have to replace my ball joints while they are being mounted and balanced. Then I will tackle the brakes and I should be in good shape!

I'm curious to know how these wear vs Rivals. I think I could have got 10k out of the Rivals if I would have rotated on time. I just ordered another's set and will keep up on rotation this time. Let us know how it goes with these.

Soo apparently the RS-R's are back ordered... So I'm thinking either..

A.) wait 4 weeks and "maybe" they will be available
B.) Switch to NT05's
C.) Switch to S-Drives
D.) Switch to something else good in the same price range
Is the BFG rebate still going on? $70 off a set of rivals or whatever gets them close to that price range. I really really dislike rivals though. The V720 are fairly cheap but still outside of your price range.

Not too sure on the rebate but I thought about rivals and really don't want to go that route. I'd love to get some tires on the car sooner than ~5 weeks from now :-/... So I might just order something else. Just have to figure out what

Just got mine today. Yes $70 rebate going on now. I bought from Phil's and will end up paying $105 per tire after rebate. You got to order soon thought. I believe the rebate is from 5-18 to 6-18 or something like that.
