Seriously though, I'm not trying to ride anyone's dick or take business away from anyone else for that matter, but people have driven way further than you have to to get tuned by him. I'm sure you'll have a response by the weekend. I'm actually going to post a review on the forum if I can because I want to share the good experience and see who else has had one (and so I can be creeping on other local miata owners haha). Another one of his customers who had his car done the weekend before mine made it a point to see Ken before moving to CA permanently. Kind of says something, he's moving to an area where car culture is bigger and I'm sure tuners are more abundant, but he got tuned by Oracle.
Hey I'm sold.... Lol I'm excited to get tuned by him now!

Oops just noticed you said bottom... Switching that line to the other port, but you get the idea
Not sure if related to your issue but based on that pic, should be running a pre-throttle plate boost source to a port on the lower part of the waste gate (closer to manifold). As it sits in that picture the boost is being used to hold the ewg closed so it won't opened to bleed off the extra exhaust.

Upper port on the ewg can be used with a 3 port ebc.

Wasnt sure as both ports that you have barbs on go to upper chamber. Needs to move to one that you have a plug in. But if already did that then carry on.

So I went to mount my ECU today more permenantly but realized the ecu cover bracket was rusted beyond recognition.

Mmmm so much want but I cant justify spending $84 shipped for a piece of aluminum... Lol (And I would still have the buy a new bracket on top of this mount...)

Do you still have AC? I deleted AC and am going to mount mine behind the glove box. After seeing how much the cover plate rusted I don't want to put my ~700 dollar ecu there.

Is it rust that goes through the metal? Sandblast and powder coat for cheaper solution.

AC Is deleted. Yeah I thought about that too... I'm wondering if my harness is long enough to fit it up there... I guess it should be

The bracket was literally disintegrated lol... Its really falling apart and the studs broke off. I wonder if I could hit it with the bench brinder though and salvage it... Use a couple long bolts/nuts to replace the studs... Might be worth a shot

That Tial looks strange to me because i don't know much about nice things, but on my old Tials and my current Turbosmart, the top fitting is a vent, and i control using the bottom on.

So... opposite of what you've got.

Switching them around gives me eleventy billion PSI.

Yeah I think its good now lol... Thats really the only other spot it can run to.

I'm curious to see how it responds but im nervous to get into boost the way it is. I didn't like my AFR's in my log and the way it kept cutting out. I guess I'll just limp it to Oracle and let Ken figure it out.

the ports have "water" and "boost" or something like that marked right next to them. use the right ones, and cap the others, and you're set.

Haha yeah water cooled wastegate but I dont see the need.... Can't say I didn't think about running water though it though. Ultimately ended up just seeing it as another possible failure point.

The Tial ewgs are water cooled. It prevents the black ones from turning purple.
