You think it's funny and and stupid, until you ask someone what's done to their car and they stand there for a solid 20 minutes listing everything including the JDM squash air freshener and non-splatter tire wall shine, and then you realize you'd prefer if they just said "stage 2"

Me too. But hey, it's what the vendor calls it, so it's what I'm calling it.

OK, so I got my first Blackstone results.
This oil change had the dyno pulls, drive to and from laguna, and both track days at Laguna.
Not excellent.
I put Lucas Racing 20w50 full syn in after this, and did a track day and a rain autocross along with a few street miles. going to go ahead and change that out here hopefully next weekend and send in for a new sample. I think my oil pressure is a bit too low -- getting around 38-40 PSI at 6000 RPM on the track, and that did not improve going to 20w50 (from Rotella 5w40).
I am suspecting (hoping) the RX7 oil cooler is causing the pressure drop, so when I do this next oil change I'm going to remove the sandwich plate to bypass the oil cooler. We will see if this solves the oil pressure problem. Fingers crossed.

The BOV is ever so slightly open at idle. when I rev it, it actually sits open for a sec on deceleration.
so... maybe it just hangs wide open when it's under vacuum. That'd be really stupid if that's the case.

Yes I've seen that too. when revving at a stop.
Why would the BOV do that?

Do you not have a filter on the outlet, just for safety? Please do that. Or is the kind of BOV that has ports all around? I'm a fan of using a recirc valve as a blow-off and adding a filter.
EDIT: Strong springs are good, too. Depending on the constuction, it will pop open with the net difference between inlet pressure and line pressure, so it will work when it should. However, some have the inlet port tangential to the piston, and would be harder to tune between not opening, vs open at idle.

I didn't really have good results with an FC oil cooler on my VVT motor. Peak pressure would show less than 40 PSI at the stock location (Autometer electric gauge) when warm. I ended up removing it and going with a Setrab and Mocal sandwich plate. Now I see much better pressures
