There is no way I would be able to shake the car down enough before Dec 28th to be even remotely comfortable bringing it to the strip. The motor wouldn't even be broken in most likely.

So I didn't read everything but I saw goals similar to what I am making, but the sig says 7163. Did something change along the way? Cause a 6258 makes the power you wanted with ease. I'm referencing the second post in this thread.

There was also another nice surprise during the pull. The driver side motor mount was pulled completely in half!! Aw yeah.

Nice MSM. Are you using the stock MSM sway bars w/ the bilsteins?
How long did those motor mounts last you? They look like the Mazda comp ones? |
If those are the mounts that came with the car from the factory, then they are the MSM specific ones. Not sure if Ryan_G upgraded them at some point or not.
Mazda lists 3 different PNs of motor mounts for the Miata. From softest to firmest: 90-05, 04-05 MSM & Competition. The part numbers are floating around here somewhere, or you can look them up somewhere like Rosenthal. |
