Carb cleaner or starting fluid. Use large quantities of it. Spray it heavilty at the suspect spot then if the idle changes at all you have a leak. It will not change for long though so you can respray after a few seconds.

So I have an emotor GT28 turbo. I called th company and asked what size oil fitting for the oil feed. The guy said he did not know and he was waiting on that info from china. I wen out an could only find a m12x1.25 bolt and I know that does not fit. I think I am going to just order a m12x1.5 fitting and hope and pray it works.

Mic the hole...use a thread pitch chart to determine the bolt diameter, as well as the thread pitch.

http://www.almetal.nl/_images/gti/scthmf.gif

What you can mic will be the minor diameter, the 5th (last) set of paired columns. You can see that if it is 1.5mm pitch the minor diameter of the hole will be smaller due to the larger thread root.

You can also push something malleable (like an earplug) into the hole and measure the actual pitch laterally to be sure. You may need something larger for a 12mm hole...but you get the idea.

summit racing m12x1.50 to 4an adaptor

O u meen thiz?

It may be because their distribution warehouse is like 40 miles away from me, but I don't believe I've ever waited any longer than 18 hours to have an ordered part on my doorstep, even with their cheapest (usually free) shipping option. I usually order the part at 8 or 9pm, and it is always on my doorstep when I get home from work the next day. They're good with getting stuff out quick.

Edit: Then pick one of these if you need it:
-4an elbows

That is what I ended up building today to make it fit. We will see if in a few minutes if it leaks or not. I will be sourcing a better built one soon, but hopefully this suffices for now.

Basically I needed both -4AN on both sides. For some reason -4AN screwed into my turbo perfectly.

Even more failboat this evening. Now my gauges don't work and I am not getting spark. Tomorrow will be a long day.
