I would like to see a few more BMW swaps work before I do that, I am not really a fan of European automotive design, personally.
I have an extra 5 speed and there are 3 for sale on Craigslist now, asking 125, 180 & 200. In fairness, this tranny has been whining since MRLS. Everyone said it sounds like a stupor charger.

Yeah, it was kinda interesting, I rolled on the throttle at a lower RPM uphill to get some good data down there. I didn't really notice it and then 4th was fine, but 5th, rattle rattle. Uh oh!

Well it still hasn't "let go" but it sounds like there are marbles in there. A couple big chunks came out with the oil but passed through the grid on my oil catch. Maybe I should be consistent with the theme of this build and flush it with some ATF or something, then refill it with Lucas oil.

Bout time you guys showed up.
Refill with fresh Lucas oil and let'erip it is. That's the easy/lazy way. I would really rather be stranded at the track than the side of the freeway, but it looks like rain again.
5 speed cuz I can deal with assbloation but not nyuk-ya-lur

Look, my car is already at full height on stands, I was planning to swap out the tranny before tomorrow night. So don't worry, I am driven/addicted, not going to sit for any length of time.
