Still breaking in the turbo. It's cooling down right now and I'm drinking tea
Plan for June is as follows - 700 mile trip this weekend (vacation). 4 hours of HPDE (2-day trackday) next weekend + like 300 miles of driving there and back. Then 2 weeks of fuсk all. If the turbo makes it in 1 piece to July I'll see if the "mid-august" estimate still holds and go from there.
Oh and I'll put chicken wire on my exhaust to catch any escaping parts

I think it only applies to the unobtanium EFR turbos.

I has a huge grin on my face. It was totally worth the close-to-$1600 that it cost me to have Bryce's turbo at my doorstep. Frankly, boost must be a drug because when I rolled into 4th, I got a bit of a high.
1-2-3-4-5 pull. I lifted somewhere in the neighborhood of 110mph. I can tighten the wastegate a turn or two and be back at my "normal" street 20psi.

An update, of sorts.
I drove the car to outer banks and back, plus some driving around. 800 miles total on new turbonator. Pulls hard, hit triple digits many many many times. Driving in one lane roads and passing 5 cars at once while maxing out 5th gear is a lot of fun.
I got 27 mpg as well.
Outer banks has amazing roads... errr, road. It's really just one road. But it's STRAIGHT and has BRAND NEW ASPHALT. It's smooth and mega grippy. Basically feels like a 20 mile long drag strip. During the day when it gets hot, I couldn't even spin 2nd gear @ 19psi. Just a little chirp and off you go flying. Amazing for 205 star specs.
I haven't emptied my catch can yet so I don't really know how it's working out. The LS2 coils are amazing - not a single misfire, hesitation or anything.
Engine bay is basically covered in sand. I mean, ignition wires HAVE SAND ON THEM. I'll take off the filter and see if compressor wheel blades have hit anything.
2-day track day next weekend. I excite.

Good to hear it about the ls2 coils.
I may need to use your brake because my little ls1 coil brownie tray has a different bolt pattern.
Also seiously wash ur car everywhere cus of salt water mist blah blah but it is probably protected in a thin layer of greasy pawprints. My sawzalled frame rail did not rust for this reason. It was also spraye with oil by my first three oil feed lines.
