Subject: Gun Logic

1 - Eleven teens (average nationally) die each day because of texting while driving. Maybe it's time to raise the age of Smart Phone ownership to 21.

2 - If gun control laws actually worked, Chicago would be Mayberry, USA.

3 - The Second Amendment makes more women equal than the entire feminist movement.

4 - Legal gun owners have 300 million guns and probably a trillion rounds of ammo. Seriously, folks, if we were the problem, you'd know it.

5 - When JFK was killed, nobody blamed the rifle.

6 - The NRA (National Rifle Association) murders 0 people and receives ($$$$ 0) nothing in government funds. Planned Parenthood kills 350,000 babies every year and receives $500,000,000 in tax dollars annually.

7 - I have no problem with vigorous background checks when it comes to firearms. While we're at it, let's do the same when it comes to immigration, Voter ID., and candidates running for office.

8 - Folks keep talking about another Civil War. One side knows how to shoot and probably has a trillion rounds The other side has crying closets and is confused about which bathroom to use. Now tell me, how do you think that would end?

Don't be afraid to share this. There's more logic and common sense expressed here than probably anything you have seen on the news today.

Serious response:

When a high-paid anchor is "on leave for personal reasons and off the air since the beginning of January," that's about the same as when a CEO or Director decides to "pursue other interests." It's code for "They gave me the option to resign, so that they wouldn't have to pay out my contract, and I wouldn't have a black mark on my resume."

As background, from the USA Today article: "Lake tweeted a debunked COVID-19 video in 2020 and was off the air temporarily after uttering the F-word accidentally during a Facebook Live event in 2019."

It is a bit surprising to see her then saying critical things about her former employer, even though she is cloaking them in a veneer about being grateful for all of the opportunities and whatnot. A future prospective employer will not look kindly on that.

Also, today I learned that Lake Kari, located in Armenia on the slopes of Mount Aragats, is more than 3 kilometers above sea level and has a perimeter of 1.15 km.

Imagine how much fun it would be to be his puppet master.

The White House's YouTube page later posted the event but the last few seconds of Biden willing to take questions was edited out.

President Joe Biden has not had to answer serious questions from the public and media since his Presidency began. Biden has not had a press conference in 44 days, which is a first in modern day history.

The recent “Covid 19” relief bill - $1.9T - was filled with absolute nonsense and VERY LITTLE actually went toward relief for Americans, businesses, and the vaccine... God bless Texas and Mississippi for opening up.
One of those ridiculous deals is a $100M package for a subway system in the bay area.

Republicans noted that foolishness and replaced it with funding for student mental health. A wonderful move given the increase of mental health issues from affect of the Lockdown.

In a private conversation I had with a friend and pastor at a major southern CA university, the school is not being public about the fact that more students have committed suicide while enrolled at the school this past year than the last 20 years combined.

I have also encountered numerous issues with children (elementary to high school) at work on the police force. But apparently, addressing actual relief for some of the Lockdown’s affects is not a good idea for Democrats.
They rather treat their Silicon Valley armchair warriors with a subway line as a thank you for attacking Conservatives on the internet perhaps... screw the kids.

- From the article: “The CDC has warned that many young people’s “social, emotional and mental well-being” has been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic as they have been forced to distance from family and friends, had breaks in the continuity of their learning and health care and have missed significant life events.

“We’ve seen increasing rates of depression, anxiety and other mental health challenges among our kids who have been trapped behind screens for a year now,” Hinson said.”

Default China targets tourism boost

At least in certain demographics -

China makes COVID-19 ---- swabs mandatory for foreigners

“Heh heh - you said ----”

Never mind, IB has apparently adopted a censor algorithm that makes Beavis and Butthead seem like Christopher Hitchens.

This is still not enough proof. If you are not caught red-handed and then admit to a crime, no crime exists.

BREAKING NEWS: THE CUOMO ADMINISTRATION REWROTE A REPORT LAST JUNE TO HIDE THE NUMBER OF NURSING HOME DEATHS
by Kevin Ryan

According to a late breaking story from the New York Times tonight, the Cuomo administration rewrote a report last June to hide the number of pandemic-related nursing home deaths.

“The number — more than 9,000 by that point in June — was not public, and the governor’s most senior aides wanted to keep it that way. They rewrote the report to take it out, according to interviews and documents reviewed by The New York Times.

“The extraordinary intervention, which came just as Mr. Cuomo was starting to write a book on his pandemic achievements, was the earliest act yet known in what critics have called a monthslong effort by the governor and his aides to obscure the full scope of nursing home deaths,” the article begins.

The revelation adds to a worsening series of scandals that has all but destroyed Cuomo’s once lofty image and threatened to topple the Democratic administration whose actions may have worsened the pandemic’s toll, according to new analyses.

Cuomo and his associates have said that they did not reveal the numbers because they feared that the federal requests for nursing home data were politically motivated. However, tonight’s revelation shows that Cuomo’s effort to conceal the truth began months before requests for the data were made by federal authorities.

The decision to hide the data began as an effort to “bolster [Cuomo’s] position as a national leader in the fight against the [virus],” The Times article says. Cuomo was facing criticism for an order, issued early in the pandemic, that forced nursing homes to accept patients who had the the virus, and even banned facilities from testing incoming residents for it.

The report that was supposed to come out last June listed the nursing death toll roughly 50% higher than the figure then being cited publicly by the Cuomo administration. It included a chart comparing nursing home deaths in New York with other states. It showed that New York’s total of 9,250 deaths at the time far exceeded that of the next-highest state, New Jersey, which had 6,150.

Cuomo’s office immediately sought to change the report to hide the data. The aides who were involved in changing the report included Melissa DeRosa, the governor’s top aide who recently ignited a firestorm by admitting that the administration had hidden the numbers, as well as other officials.

“None had public health expertise,” The Times article says.

The report was eventually written in a way that reduced the number of nursing home fatalities being reported.

Developing story…

I've thought about politics for a long time now as the WWF. Amazingly, I heard someone echo the same sentiment not long ago. R's and D's are pretty much the same in what they actually do (which is not much) than what they actually say much like pro wrestlers actually hurt each other or hate each other. But the fans can't seem to get enough.

But yes, it's quite hypocritical and self-righteous of platforms to claim they stand for freedom and democracy and spreading ideas and then choosing the content they allow to be shared. However horrible this might seem though, it is all self imposed. If one does not participate in their game, then they don't have power over you. And if you wish to play the game, then you have to come prepared to lose if you choose not to play hard enough. And if you are enjoying watching the game, then it just perpetuates. I chose long ago not to play their game. Again, I walk around with my eyes and ears open.
