Remember, Cuomo purposefully spread a deadly virus and murdered old people to make Trump look bad -- but please focus more about Ted Cruz taking a day's holiday top spend time with his daughter.
Remember when Pelosi broke her own law/orders/policies in order to get a haircut and then called it a setup, and the media -- the same ones pushing the Ted Cruz "story" -- took it as gospel and didn't question it whatsoever?
I guarantee you if Ted Cruz had stayed in Texas and was shoveling a sidewalk or feeding a puppy instead of going to Mexico, the media STILL would have slammed him, saying what he was doing doesn't show he actually cares, but just trying to score political points. Cruz was damned either way.

I'll be honest, the coverage of Cruz truly has been baffling to me. Literally the first thing I questioned was "Is it possible this trip was planned?". I'm not quite sure what everyone would have expected him to do in this situation, go volunteer time at a power plant to help restore power?
Then on the other hand, our mayor here in Denver was preaching on and on last Thanksgiving about making sure everyone stays in, don't travel, social distancing, blah, blah, blah. Then the dude gets caught at the airport traveling to Mississippi an hour after tweeting to everyone to stay home....

Both stories just make me chuckle.

But that's completely different. He's not the governor nor violating his own decries. and he has no power to fix the power.
It's a tactic used by the left, who controls the media -- despite what Joe Perez tells you -- to make the enemy look bad. Much like what Hitler did to the Jews with his own propaganda machine.

A liberal state governor is caught hiding the high number of nursing home deaths that resulted from his order, and using his position to threaten someone should they expose it.
The media: "Oh, look, a conservative went on vacation."
The diesel: "Oh, look, the god-emperor who runs the state of TX went on vacation."
Just so we are clear here:
Cruz's job is to represent the interests of the State of Texas in the US Senate in regards to legislation.
Infrastructure and emergency response is the responsibility of state governors.
You only think the way you do because you were told to think that way. There's why you never came in here and posted about Newsome or the other governors who violated their own orders. Cruz violated nothing. He was free to travel to Cancun for the day.
And honestly, when someone with such a clear ignorance of their indoctrination and fundamental misunderstanding of the layered structure of government tells me I'm beyond help, I know I'm perfectly A-OKAY.
This also happened on the same day President Biden called a lid at 8am -- I live 25miles from him and I drove to work and worked 8 hours.

If he showed up and did ANYTHING, you would say it was a photo-opt and still portray him in the negative in order to distract from real news stories out there. (this is exactly what the media did to Trump every time he showed to a disaster)

I haven't looked into what Newsom is doing because I'm from Texas so I don't give a crap about what Newsom is doing, and It has literally nothing to do with the subject at hand.
Even if Newsome is literally killing and eating children does that somehow absolve Cruz of being **** poor leader?

Cruz is not a leader. He is a representative in the US Senate. Again, fundamental misunderstanding of government.

If you can't see the intense and carefully crafted political motivation at play there, but instead perceive it with blind assumption of it being some virtuous altruistic act on her part, then I would offer that you may be indeed be the one without full vision of what is wrong there. AOC couldn't give a rat's *** about Texas, other than to score points against her arch rival Cruz.

AOC has raised 2 million now for Texans. Cruz went on vacation. Even if AOC came out and said "I'm raising this money for yall just to spite Ted Cruz" no one will give a crap. They need help. Some are using their positions to do so, some are not.
