The Current Events, News, and Politics Thread
"In the first week of classes, 304 undergraduates, 45 graduate students and 15 employees tested positive for COVID-19. All but eight of these individuals were vaccinated, and the vast majority of them are asymptomatic. A small number have minor, cold- and flu-like symptoms, and none have been hospitalized, according to the university."
Still not getting it I see. It was never claimed it would prevent you from getting it, it would keep the symptoms low enough that you don't end up intubated in a hospital. If reaches the point you need to be intubated, hope you've written your will.

If people don't want to get vaccinated and die in a hospital, sounds like pro-choice to me and I'm all for it.

more CDC stuffs.
I wonder if there was an incentive out there to not treat patients, but to put them on a useless ventilator and let them drown to death on their own fluids?
NBC News is not propaganda, says Joe P. Even though the FDA approved ivermectin for human use back in 1997 (it also won a nobel prize in 2015)...

Definition of obtuse:
difficult to comprehend : not clear or precise in thought or expression
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/obtuse
Whether you understand is irrelevant. You have failed to clearly convey a sense of whatever it is you're referring to.
As is often the case.

Also, you sound as if you are so calm and comfortable with people dying in a hospital but at the same point you are for mask mandates and forcing the vaccine on unwilling people. You're fine with people disagreeing with you and dying, but not fine with people disagreeing with you and being alive. What kind of dark, evil person are you that your value system works like this?
For additional perspective, why are there ZERO survivor stories of vaccinated people getting Covid and surviving - not even stories of unvaccinated people getting Covid and surviving with the supposed "lifelong debilitating respiratory problems" and talking about it?
If it is so terrible to get Covid and we know that vaccinated people can both contract Covid as well as distribute Covid, then by which measure does it make sense to encourage vaccinated people to move freely about the country and life, unless the intent is to help them infect everyone in the world?

Better phrased: Why did the CDC tell vaccinated people they no longer had to wear masks in any capacity between May 13 and Aug 12?
Definition of moving the goalposts:
If you accuse someone of moving the goalposts, you mean that they have changed the rules in a situation or an activity, in order to gain an advantage for themselves to make things difficult for other people.
