They torched the capital this week after the government shut down all social media platforms on Friday. The people were initially angry over the lavish lifestyles of the children of politicians being flaunted online.

It's important to bear in mind that these people (the fanbase of the far-left) have been force-fed a steady stream of messaging that people on the right-of-center are evil fascists who seek to enslave or exterminate all women / minorities / queers / etc.
With that context, violence seems to be entirely justified to prevent the US from becoming The Fourth Reich.
The phrase "incitement to violence" comes to mind.
