Cordy, I gotta be honest here. As I was at work today, watching the incoming feeds and looking at the "Tylenol" stories stacking up in the graphics server, a part of me wanted to log in and post something in this thread to the effect of "Are we Tylenol experts yet?"
But I got distracted, and so it didn't happen.
So, imagine the depth of my amusement when I log in this evening, and receive confirmation that, yes, you do now in fact "know that it's been ignored for too long."
It's still kind of novel every time I watch this happen in real-time. The President spoon-feeds you a new opinion, and then you become passionate about spreading the gospel of whatever it is.
Don't get me wrong: I'm sure that there's some meaningful evidence here. I fully expect that in a few years, once the dems are back in control of Congress and the White House, that everyone will just accept as plainly obvious that of course taking acetaminophen during pregnancy was one of the biggest contributors to autism in the 20th century.
It's just interesting to observe how immediately and absolutely you react to the marching orders.

This fascist Trump reign has got to end!

"As online platforms, including Alphabet, grappled with these decisions, the Administration's officials, including President Biden, created a political atmosphere that sought to influence the actions of platforms based on their concerns regarding misinformation," Google added. "It is unacceptable and wrong when any government, including the Biden Administration, attempts to dictate how the Company moderates content, and the Company has consistently fought against those efforts on First Amendment grounds."
The letter later stated, "The Company terminated channels for repeatedly violating its Community Guidelines on elections integrity content through 2023 and COVID-19 content through 2024. Today, YouTube's Community Guidelines allow for a wider range of content regarding COVID-19 and elections integrity. Reflecting the Company's commitment to free expression, YouTube will provide an opportunity for all creators to rejoin the platform if the Company terminated their channels for repeated violations of COVID-19 and elections integrity policies that are no longer in effect."

I’m sorry, I must have missed it. I haven’t caught up on the latest news.
Did PayPal cancel Jimmy Kimmel’s personal account?
Did Chase and Bank of America shut down his accounts?
Did Twitter ban him from the platform?
Did Facebook suspend him from buying ads?
Did Stripe shut down his merchant account?
Did the FBI open up an investigation into him?
Did rabid protesters force him to evacuate his studio?
Did they chase him to his house and force him to evacuate there too?
Is there an entire ideology centered around the idea that Jimmy Kimmel can’t be allowed to speak anymore in society?
Are there terrorist cells in every major metro area calling to shut him down by any means necessary, even assassination?
Are there countless Subreddits calling for his assassination?
Are billionaires funding lawsuits seeking to force ABC News to pull him off the air?
Did Leticia James indict him on slander charges?

A few years ago I took the two-part "Shingrix" shot and became extremely ill with both shots. Each shot I ended up in bed for a week, but I thought it was important because I had Chicken pox as a child, TWICE.I told one of my friends about it, and it turns out she had an autistic child, and a boat-load of knowledge on the subject of vaccinations. We also have someone named Dr. Sears who practices/d about a mile and a half from my house. Many of our family friends see/saw him. His books can be found here: https://drbobsears.com/
Vax hesitancy is a "thing" in San Clemente.
But you're right; otherwise I just regurgitate what I hear on the news that day...

Tylenol was a surprise announcement to me.
I was already avoiding it because of liver toxicity issues.
I'm just happy that somebody's figured something out about autism and we can start working to reduce these terrible numbers. The children deserve better.

I had covid last week. I took walmart's generic acetaminophen for the crazy muscle aches and fever. It fixed both overnight so I could actually sleep. It was the best $0.98 I've ever spent. (I'm not pregnant)
Interesting stance to present as the individual who routinely sits perched atop the fence mocking both parties failures/stupidities, no?

@joma_gc writes: "Not a year into Trump’s second term and so far we’ve gotten Democrats to..."
He's praising "we" having achieved the goal of causing Democrats to act stupidly.
Celebrating the bad behavior of our fellow citizens, no matter how much we disagree with their political philosophy is not something which we should aspire to emulate, no matter how much we disagree with their beliefs.
And yet both Democrats and Republicans routinely confuse the failure of their "opponent" with their own success. Which, in the end, makes us all a little bit worse-off.
But there are still some that hold on. This week they look like pregnant women, guzzling Tylenol on TikTok for clicks.
It is a very different thing to point out failure as a cautionary tale, rather than to celebrate having caused the failure of another.

At this point a failure from Democrats is a WIN for everyone. They're off the reservation. We need a "loyal opposition", but one that's rooted in reality, not "men can have babies" and "the earth will burn up next year" and "government should pay for EVERYTHING" types. They can FO.

I agree with you, that the Democrat party has crossed some sort of threshold outside of anything which I can understand to be consistent with a rational perception of reality.
That having been said, why do you participate in this thread?
Genuine question - I'd like you to put some thought into answering it, and I'll he happy to return the favor in kind.
