You are a very angry, cynical man. (And have poor taste in hairstyles.)

Well, for one thing gay men usually don't have wives or girlfriends cooking for them. And if they are drinking Cosmo's and spritzers they aren't drinking beer and watching football.

Just looking to keep it simple here cause often times the simplest explanation is the most accurate.

I am thinking there might be a different reason that lesbian women weigh more, on average, than straight women than Braineack or Sixshooter think.
It also would be the same reason that gay men weigh less, on average, than straight men.

Simply put I feel that;
Gay women weigh more because men, on average, men weigh more than women and they subconsciously feel that being heavier is more masculine.
Gay men weigh less because, on average, women weigh less than men and they subconsciously feel that weighing less is more feminine.

Similarly fat people normally weigh more than thin people because they get less exercise and eat more.
See how it works?
Simple reasoning for generalizations.
Might be right or might be wrong but at least it is simple.

I think it's 3-fold with the biggest reason being gay men [highly generalizing here] want to look attractive for their mates and feel attractive to themselves and care about outward apperances.

So similar to your thoughts, that, yes, it's more feminine to look thinner, but the concept of being so self-centered is part of it too. The gays love fashion and having on-fleek eyebrows; outward appearance is important to them -- probably to make up for how miserable they may feel below the skin. So while femininity probably has part to do with it, I think being attractive in general has a lot to do with it as well.

It also could be part of a coping mechanism and it's possibly why some gays take it too such an extreme with make-up and clothing wear they become caricatures of themselves and/or go full-out drag queen; give's them something to hide behind.

Lesbians hate everything, and especially hate pretty girls. They want to normalize fatness and pretend it's beautiful so they feel better about being a horrible person.

Coincidentally, both probably suffer from daddy issues.

Please keep in mind I'm not a psychologist, but I like to play one on the Internets when I'm bored. I'd ask, but it probably wouldn't end well for me...

Jeez Braineack, why don't you like the government?
Braineack:

https://thehill.com/homenews/state-w...bLouKS3AyhicOE

The New Jersey state Senate on Thursday overwhelmingly voted to pass a bill that would keep presidential candidates off the state’s 2020 ballot unless they release their tax returns.

According to the Courier Post, the Democratic-controlled state Senate passed the measure along party lines in a 23-11 vote on Thursday, sending the bill to the Assembly committee and full legislature for a vote before it heads to the desk of Gov. Phil Murphy (D) for consideration.

The controversial measure would deny candidates for president and vice president a spot on the state ballot if they do not publicly release five of their most recent tax returns at least 50 days before the general election in 2020.

The bill, if passed, would also bar the state’s electors from voting for candidates for president and vice president as part of the Electoral College system if they choose not to comply with the legislation.

President Trump has drawn ongoing criticism over his refusal to publicly release his tax returns, the first major-party White House candidate in decades not to do so.

...
https://www.wsj.com/articles/a-gas-t...son-1536622306

The Tax Foundation ranks New Jersey as the third most taxed state in America, after New York and Connecticut. But a silver lining used to be the Garden State’s relatively low gasoline tax of 14.5 cents a gallon—second lowest in the U.S. No more, and therein lies a tale of why taxing the rich to finance government is an illusion.

In October 2016, then-Gov. Chris Christie signed a bill raising the gas tax by 22.6 cents to 37.1 cents a gallon to replenish the Transportation Trust Fund. The TTF was set up to pay for road and...

…the bill also included a clause that automatically raises the gas tax if it doesn’t produce the expected revenue each year. This is a self-fulfilling economic prophesy. A higher gas tax causes people to drive less, which in turn has meant that revenues have fallen short of the expected $2 billion target. So on Oct. 1 the gas tax will rise another 4.3 cents to 41.4 cents per gallon, which will be the ninth highest in the U.S. …This will be the state’s third tax increase in four months, following June’s increase in income and corporate tax rates. …The larger lesson is that sooner or later the middle class always gets the bill for bigger government. Higher income and corporate taxes drive the affluent out of the state, which means less revenue. That leaves the middle class to pay in higher sales, property and now gasoline taxes.

https://www.wsj.com/articles/my-clie...ire-1525289556

That headline arrives via email from a money manager in northern New Jersey. The Garden State already has the third largest overall tax burden and the country’s highest property tax collections per capita. Now that federal reform has limited the deduction for state and local taxes, the price of government is surging again among high-income earners in New Jersey and other blue states. Taxpayers are searching for the exits.

Now that federal reform has limited the deduction for state and local taxes, the price of government is surging again among high-income earners in New Jersey and other blue states. Taxpayers are searching for the exits. …says Jeffrey Sica, founder of Circle Squared, an alternative investments firm. “We structure real estate deals for family offices and high-net-worth individuals and at a record pace those family offices and individuals are leaving the TriState for lower-tax states. Probably a dozen this year at least,”…In the decade ending in 2016, real economic growth in New Jersey clocked in at a compound annual percentage rate of 0.1, just slightly higher than John Blutarsky’s GPA and less than a tenth of the national average for economic growth. The Tax Foundation ranks New Jersey dead last among the 50 states for its business tax climate. …Steven Malanga calls Mr. Murphy’s plan “the U-Haul Budget” for the new incentives it gives New Jersey residents to flee.

Unlike 49 States, New Jersey Bans Selling Home-Baked Goods

After escaping an abusive relationship, Heather Russinko found herself living paycheck to paycheck. For Heather, baking became a way to recover, and bond with her son. At first, she sold her baked goods to support her son’s school fundraisers. But over time, her signature cake pops became a hit. Soon Heather started receiving requests from family, friends, sports fundraisers, and even a wedding venue. Heather realized that she could earn some much-needed dough simply by baking at home. With this business, Heather hoped she could pay for her son’s college education and one day open her own brick-and-mortar cake pop shop.

Unfortunately, her dreams were dashed thanks to a law that exists only in New Jersey. Unlike 49 other states, selling baked goods made at home is illegal in the Garden State. Baking and selling just one cake, cookie or muffin risks fines as high as $1,000. When Heather learned she had to shut down her cake pop sideline, the news was “crushing,” she said. “I always wanted to have my own business. I believe in creating your own destiny and being self-sufficient,” Heather told CBS This Morning...

Liberals: Your American Flag is encouraging violence
Also Liberals: Violently attack everything they disagree with cause they are frustrated snowflakes with no coping mechanisms
also Liberal media: ::crickets chirp::

In other footage obtained by Campus Reform, another person, also unidentified, approached the students, claiming they were “encouraging violence.” Williams told Campus Reform that as the physical confrontations took place, a number of onlookers simply watched.

“Some students nearby tabling were laughing, even one guy was smiling while I was being attacked and trying to hand me his flyer as a joke,” the alleged victim said. “The idea is free speech has consequences.... which include you getting assaulted if they find you promoting ideas others don't agree with.”

A student who asked to remain anonymous and was at the scene after the alleged victim got punched said someone also tore apart their signs.

“As I approached the table I could see our TPUSA pins all over the floor, our signs were torn apart, Hayden’s eye was red, and his nose was bleeding,” the student told Campus Reform.

Dan Mogulof, assistant vice chancellor for the Office of Communications and Public Affairs for UC-Berkeley told Campus Reform that while he has not seen confirmation of the assault, he condemns the behavior.

“Let me state in no uncertain terms that this university strongly condemns violence and harassment of any sort, for any reason. That sort of behavior is reprehensible and intolerable,” Mogulof said. “We have, in recent years, spent millions of dollars to ensure that students from across the ideological/political spectrum can safely and successfully promote and discuss their beliefs. Our commitment to freedom of expression and belief is unwavering.”

That seemed fake, so I did some digging.

Turns out that a 2010 law did in fact require that notice be posted. The idea was that after the FL Dept of Revenue verified that the owner of the vending machine was remitting sales & use tax on products sold from it, they'd be given the sticker.

It was repealed in 2018, after Florida figured out that "Oh, pretty much anyone can print their own version of this notice and post it, and we forgot to make doing so illegal."

Democrats are obsessed with helping the poor Trump:

https://news.yahoo.com/democrat-pred...142301949.html

House Democrats have asked for a confidential copy of President Trump’s tax returns from the IRS, but obtaining them won’t be simple or fast, Rep. Don Beyer, D-Va., said during an interview on Yahoo News’ “Skullduggery” podcast. Beyer said Democrats will need a “good legal rationale” to request Trump’s financial documents, adding that he believes the questions surrounding Trump’s ties to Russia are sufficient reason to ask for the documents.

Beyer is a member of the powerful House Committee on Ways and Means, which has the power to obtain a copy of President Trump’s tax returns thanks to an obscure law that’s almost a century old.

Trump’s tax returns have been something of a holy grail for Democrats who have consistently requested the release of the documents, particularly given the questions surrounding foreign business dealings at Trump’s sprawling real estate company. Beyer predicted that his committee will ultimately be able to get their hands on Trump’s elusive financial documents. But he explained that there are several obstacles to the process.

...

They must know that the witch hunt is yielding diddly.

I saw the headlines where Fox cut Jussie Smollett from the rest of the current Empire season due to his legal issues surrounding the "Hate Crime" situation.

Since drama's on TV tend to follow current and past headlines I would like to suggest that they write an episode or two next season where his personal situation plays out on TV.
The finale of the episode could be where he is taken away in handcuffs to do hard time.
He would be written off but would still leave the door open for him to rejoin the cast when his prison time is up.
Heck, they could even have segments to show the situations that a gay man is put into when he goes to jail.
Might as well give him his own series.
He could be the main star and have street cred to back it up, sort of like a person of color male liberal gay Chuck Norris.

Hope nobody thinks I am actually serious about any of this but given the current level of drama TV it is probably at least being discussed behind the scenes.

whenKatherine Heigl declined her Golden Globe nom for her sub-par acting on grey's anatomy, the writers gave her cancer and killed her off.

ABC revived a dead Dan Conner in order to reboot a shitty TV show because they thought they could make money off republicans while underhandedly making jabs at them. This happened just after cancelling their best sitcom because it lacked jokes about Trump (which is doing quite well now on FOX). Yet they refuse to cancel one of the shittiest shows on TV: modern family.

At the same time CBS rebooted another shitty TV show because they thought they could make money off bad Trump jokes.

no point to make here.

From article by Rachel Lynn Aldrich:

The Supreme Court on Wednesday unanimously ruled that the ban found in the Eighth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution on excessive fines applies to states as well as the federal government. The ruling has widespread implications for the practice of civil asset forfeiture, in which police sometimes seize thousands of dollars of property from criminal suspects. “Protection against excessive punitive economic sanctions … is, to repeat, both ‘fundamental to our scheme of ordered liberty’ and ‘deeply rooted in this Nation’s history and tradition,’” Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg wrote in the majority opinion, citing an earlier case on the subject.

I've been observing for a while that victim-status has become a new form of social currency, and that the greater the victimization, the more weight your voice carries.

The Juicy Smolensk situation is merely an example of someone taking this to a higher level. Sadly, this kind of fraud makes it necessary to be increasingly suspicious of the claims of anyone who says that they have been the victim of a violent crime, which is really unfair to those who have, in fact, been the victims of a violent crime.
