Turbo too small?
The /s was to show the end of my sarcasm. I think it is a very interesting idea and you are not a noob who does not know what they are doing. So I look forward to seeing the results. Sometime in the future I might even grab one just to play with if I ever get some free time.
I'm curious to know if the turbine chokes out first or the compressor. I know that when you turn the boost up on the 3.5L ecoboost you will get a boost gain in the early power band then it's back to the factory boost a red line. I guess i'll need some turbo inlet pressure sensors to figure that out. I wish I could find a compressor map for it too.

unless the sides are mismatched, which I highly doubt in a modern and well designed turbo, I'd say they probably choke around the same time
with OEM's, gone are the days of completely mis-matched and lopsided wheels. these guys really squeeze out every last bit of powerband from the units

Me too. The Ko3 1.8 I drove was a blast as long as you adapted your driving style to it. Short shift it because she falls off hard after 6k. It was a stump puller low in the rpm band.
