ahh I see. I'm an interwebz noob tho...

I'm curious to know if the turbine chokes out first or the compressor. I know that when you turn the boost up on the 3.5L ecoboost you will get a boost gain in the early power band then it's back to the factory boost a red line. I guess i'll need some turbo inlet pressure sensors to figure that out. I wish I could find a compressor map for it too.

unless the sides are mismatched, which I highly doubt in a modern and well designed turbo, I'd say they probably choke around the same time

with OEM's, gone are the days of completely mis-matched and lopsided wheels. these guys really squeeze out every last bit of powerband from the units

well....at least the manufacturers that actually matter do

Me too. The Ko3 1.8 I drove was a blast as long as you adapted your driving style to it. Short shift it because she falls off hard after 6k. It was a stump puller low in the rpm band.
