Holy **** thats lean. I wish Ben had posted his table, 30mpg sounds pretty good to me.

There's a couple other ways I dealt with this problem in the past. I would tune the idle cells to improve the anti-stall abilities. Say I idle at 800 normally, I'd have RPM increments of say 400, 700, 800. So timing at idle might look like this:

800:12, kpa: whatever idle is
700:16, kpa: idle kpa and higher
400:20, kpa idle kpa and higher, but leave the 90-100 kpa range at say 14 for restarts so you don't fire the motor backwards.

This results in ANYTHING that causes the engine to dip below idle RPMs to cause the engine to want to speed up. Very good anti-stall feature that anyone can do to their timing table, and it improved my hot starts. So did moving AIT sensor but that didn't completely fix it, this did.

Pat you ahh, dont have the ability to do exactly that in idle control with the MS? Thats how my AEM idle is setup, not only does it open the IAC more if the idle dips below target it also increases spark advance.

Yes, MS has that feature as a change in idle advance with a delta in the engine speed.

Yes you can do idle other ways, I just posted that I did it with timing before and it worked. Of course there are other ways. When I did it I didn't have the MS controlling the idle valve, so I used timing, and it worked.

He just means that with MS3 you can have specific idle timing adjustment instead of just adjusting the normal timing table.

True, also MS2E had it, and I used it!

Normal regular MS2 can based off closed loop target rpm error. Six cells of resolution, so you don't need below idle timing cells for more resolution. I only let it add timing when the RPMs drop below target, but it can pull it too.

Since some of you blokes have had issues with the Denso-to-EV14 wired adapters, how are the solid adapters, e.g.: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTQ1M1gxNT...VUq2B/$_57.JPG

Anyone tried those?

I have a feeling they would be hard to make fit.

Because of the geometrics of the intake? Could the injectors rotate slightly to fit?

Those look really cool. I think they would still clear too

I see the image is from ebay, is that where people get those?

I dunno, I was searching for connectors/adapters and ended up at eBay.

Is the problem guys have had with the wired ones chalked up to shitty wiring connections/connectors?

I can confirm that the hard adapters DO NOT fit. At least on a '96 intake/fuel rail.

I also believe I still have mine laying around if someone wants to try them on another intake/fuel rail set up.

Is a '96 intake+rail any different than a '95?

I've seen some of those top hat extenders with retainer clips, some without. Are the clips optional on Miatae?

I bought a set similar to those last fall, they did not fit properly.

BTW, it looks like these injectors have increased in price; the lowest I could find single injectors was $32.99/ea at CJ Pony Parts. Free shipping. I know you can find them a little cheaper in sets of 8, but if you don't want to deal with splitting a set, I couldn't find anything better.
