Hustler, on another topic, the firesleeve installation on your oil line is unfinished. To get full protection, you need to secure the ends and use red RTV to protect the fiberglass from oil contamination. See here for examples -- http://www.sacskyranch.com/h_fire.htm.

So, even if you did a teardown for nothing but paranoia, you can at least increase your fire resistance.

+20% fire immunity? or is it 15/- fire damage reduction?

OTOH, Hustler's pretty serious about racing. If a small thing can buy him another few seconds when the ^&*# hits the fan, it could make all the difference.
