That's what if felt like putting my truck tires on. The tire bead was only 3 inches apart in the center. Made it extemely difficult to get the tire to hold air to set the bead.

Yeah, i went searching for techniques online and that was #1. Some use an inner tube to fill the gap and there is a company that makes a tool for that reason.

I tried stretching the tire overnight and no luck. I finally stood on the side wall and pulled up on the wheel. I was able to seat the inner bead and put it back on the machine. I called for reinforcements (wife) and we lifted the tire to create a seal on the upper bead. It worked but was a struggle.

I used brake cleaner fluid last time to reseat my lawnmower tire that had fallen off the rim. I chose poorly and burnt my arm hair off from the forearm up (i was at least wearing my welding gloves but it wasn't enough)

Anybody know these people? Luckily, everybody was ok, it appears even the miatae only received minbor bumps and bruises.

There's no way that truck was rated to safely tow that load. I can just see that trailer steering the truck.
