The AI-generated cat pictures thread
Still is a planet. There are just too many planets for school children to list, so they keep it at 8 major ones.
With what we have been seeing of exoplanets (e.g. gas giants bigger than Jupiter on crazy elliptical orbits) we have to admit that our criteria for a "planet", which was used to downgrade Pluto, is flawed. It was just based on what we see in our solar system.
Apparently New Horizons is working hard taking and processing data, and we have to wait until tomorrow afternoon to see new pics.

The 2006 definition of "planet" requires that it's a housekeeper for its orbit. Apparently pluto is a slob, and we all know dwarves are slobs, hence: dwarf planet.
Incidentally my not-even-3-year-old-son can name all 8 planets (mostly) in order and he can name all 5 dwarf planets (I bet most of you can't) from memory.
The recent hubbub around pluto this week is right up his alley.

"The Model 100 had an unusual inboard mounted twin engine arrangement driving forward mounted twin counter rotating propellers through driveshafts."
?!?At the risk of stereotyping, leave it to a French automaker to come up with this sort of concept.
That said, I'd totally rock one.
