My first computer class was basic on TRS-80. It was larger than a household cat (because integrated crt?). Wrote an ATM app in BASIC that managed an account balance. Backed up our work to audio cassette.
Commodore 64 was my first computer, though the oldest I currently posses is a Commodore VIC-20 

An e-Machine purchased from QVC by my aunt is still, to this day, the only computer I've seen die a fiery death due to internal hardware failure.

mine was a TI-99

I still have all my cartridges for it, but my silly mother threw away the cpu itself. My parents like throwing away stuff in the basement they dont use.
