Much obliged.

Certainly, someone is trolling with this, right? RIGHT?

I was more thinking of axial flow turbines, but yea sure, a lawn mower generates gas too, i know.

I think this is the idea he (she?) was going for, basically an anti-lag system. Here's an interesting setup supposedly similar to what Prodrive ran on their WRC STi's: https://motoiq.com/external-combusti...impreza-sti-2/

No joke. I had that exact idea when I was in highschool. Its okay to have dumb ideas in highschool.

I'd be more inclined to just drive a procharger with an electric motor. Still probably dumb, though.

Sounds like that engine might need some new piston return springs:

I 100% just convinced the new guy here at work that cars have piston return springs. Showed him parts of that video.

His previous job was at Midas. Says he's AEC certified.

This is the stupidest thing I have seen in a very long while.

There is no point in adding springs in a combustion chamber; the "boom" drives the piston down, and a spring would destroy the said chamber, and itself in no time.
That spring goes to the bottom side of the piston, people.
You need it to push the piston back up.

An NT is what people NOT on the autism spectrum are called by those that are. "Neurologically Typical"

Pretty much.
Just comparing T vs F is makes me think that most of us skew that way.
