Side note: I picked up this book a couple of days ago, so far it's an absolutely fascinating read. I'm currently about 30% through it.

Synopsis: NYT Magazine writer is sent here in 2012 to write a story about the up-and-coming Thunder. Falls in love with OKC (I know bizarre), decides to obsessively research all aspects of the history, founding, people, etc, and writes a book about it.
