Tried ARROGANT BASTARD ALE yesterday.
Talk about BITTER. OMFG. Hated it.. Actually many of the dark brews I've tried recently I've not been a big fan of. Currently trying BALTIKA: Golden Lager. Brewed in Russia, and quite tasty actually. Very mild, very refreshing. Liking it. |

actually since he's from california, i'd suggest:
Boont Amber Ale Red Nectar Red Seal Those are all easy drinkin' california-y red/amber style ales. Little bit malty, just a touch of hops, and goes down easy flavor. |
