Always willing to lend a hand. Shoot me a PM when the time comes around and I'll cruise down.

Have experience with F.I. on various cars and it's always fun to help out and learn new things.

Anybody got a welder by any chance?? If not theres a few muffler shops around here that should be able to do the job, only thing we should need is the flange for the BOV on the piping...
Also anybody damn good with swapping clutches?? I was gonna keep boost low and save it for another day, because I know it would take me forever...If its possible lemme know and Ill order...

I did my install. Eli has done several installs. That and with the help of the info on this forum im sure we should get you on the road. I dont have a welder. As far as the clutch that all depends on how late you wanna be up. Id say if you dont have to drive the car during the week should just get the car running and then do the clutch the following weekend. Is the car driveable? If it is why dont you get the exhaust on before we do the install.

Good points, and I guess we can start planning here, Ill im my address and stuff later on...

The car isnt exactly driveable, I have alot done (turbo, mani, dp, ic, lines, etc), Id have to start piecing it together...Its not my dd car, so thats why its been sitting, but theres a good chance it will be after...
For the exhaus, I have it rigged for now... The DP is in, being coercced to the stock exhaust...figured that should get me to a test drive or 2 and to the muffler shop for the exhaust once its running....

As for the clutch, I really dunno how driveable the car would be or how long itd last at like 7psi....If it can wait for a while, then Id rather save up a lil...But if it wont last Id rather do it with the build or itll take me forever solo. What does everyone think? As for staying up, thats all up to you guys...This is charity so, I cant say. As for me, Im up for whatever needs to be done

Ps-...I know I need to address Heat Protection, vacuum lines, and air filter...and i have to decide, order, and have here in time.... I THINK everything else is here or installed...

Here.s whats in my parts bin....
Wb02
o.p gauge + sending unit from 91
boost gauge
air filter piping
gauge pod
MS, harness, ebc mod, sensors...thanks to a certain someone who I hope is
BOV ....carhunting
Small breather filter

Installed is....
begi dp
gt2560
begi cast mani
wg
oil feed+ss line
oil drain is installed at the turbo, tapped at the pan, but not connected (needs to be flushed well, and jb welded)
water lines
FMIC--ic piping is all measured, prefit and cut..all hardware is here
diy dual feed fueal rail, and rx7 inj (witchhunter serviced)
radiator hose changed to flexible
pcv valve

Thats it, so I need to know if Im missing anything, or need to address anything....I want to make the most of this day, and not be held up on anything from my end...

Order a few feet of this- https://www.wirecare.com/products.as...FG&prodline=ES for the heater hoses, oil and water lines. Go to Home Depot and get some of that reflective tape in the plumbing dept to wrap the brake resivoir. If there is a true value around your way they sell diamond plate in cut sheets. Get one of those and we can make you a heat shield. Thats what I did. Also get some Fuel injection hose clamps from advance (they are the best). Do you have all your clamps and couplers for the ic pipes? For vacuum hose you can get that at any auto parts store, so no problem there. As far as your clutch there really isnt any way to know. Mine held 8psi for a week of daily driving b4 it started to slip. If money is an issue just pick up an ebay Stage 3 F1 clutch. I have been using the same clutch for about 6 months and it has never slipped.

Gonna get on the heat protection tomm...Ill order from that site (thanks), and make a run to home depot for the reflective tape..(will that be strong enough to protect the brake resv.?)...And Ill see where the closest True Value is to me, havent passed by any but im sure i can hunt one down either by hom eor by my job.

As for the clutch, Im more concerned with us being able to get it installed than the money. I can always break out the credit card, just didnt want to pull the trigger and then have it sitting in case we dont have enough time to get it in. Is everyone on board to do a clutch as well? Ive only done it with the engine out of the car, id assume its much harder to drop the tranny and all...can we get it done in time?

I have all my ic couplers, clamps, etc...and everything is ready to go in once we figure out location for the bov and have the flange welded.

What about air filter? Im not sure how fitment will be until its mocked up, and im sure Ill have to ditch the cruise control which i hear is simple. Should I hold off and just get the filter, hose clamps, & vacuum lines at Advance the day of?? They are around the corner from me, and are open till about 7 or so...Also gonna need to get some mobil 1 that day as well...
We need to flush the oil pan really well for shavings...i think we can grab that as well the day of, unless its some special liquid thats used rather than dino oil..

Any thoughts on the rigged exhaust?? I was gonna leave it like that just for the tuning, and the trip to the muffler shop. Then planning on just doing a custom 2.5 or 3 straight thru at the local shop...nothing fancy.

As for team leader, although its my car im probably last on the list in order of experience. Everyones opinion on the build is welcome, and im thinking that will sort itself out..., no?

The wire sleeving from Phil's link appears to be nice stuff, and is cheap. I've purchase a few different sizes from them after he sent me the link.

I wouldn't mind helping, but I've got a 92 Mustang in the driveway I am trying to finish so I can sell it, then I have several projects on my Miata to do. Weekends seem to fly by, esp when the gas tank is hanging below the car.

The reflective tape along with a heat shield works fine, no problems for me after 6 months.

As for the clutch, if we get there early enough, everyone shows up and is willing to stick it out then we can get it done. Just make sure you have about 3 feet of socket extentions and a swivel. We will also need 4 jack stands.

As for the blow off valve, I would try and get the welded ahead of time. Look thru some pics so you can get some ideas of where it needs to be. Here's mine to give you an idea.

Get a gallon of mineral spirits from Home Depot to flush the oil pan of shavings.

The air filter we can do that day.

The exhaust just leave as is and then once running take it to get your custom exhaust done.

Thanks soflarick, and good luck with ur own projects man...hope it all works out!

Lev, 10/4 on the heatshielding, exhaust, air filter, and mineral spirits...

As for clutch, it really depends on everyone like u said...Are you guys all game to get it done? I dont want to force anyone, so u guys let me know..If we are all in then we.ll do it, I have a couple extensions, Im guessing with everyones stuff we should have what we need...i guess while were planning lets plan tools as well, let me know whats needed, and if i dont have maybe someone thats coming does?

As for the bov, i.ll take a look into that. Thing is I dont want to mess up on placement. For some reason it looks alot tighter in there than the pics i see...Maybe the Tial is bigger?? Also gotta get a bung welded for that plastic ir pipe that goes under the tb...
