Polish bigos stew tonight, perfect for a rainy, dreary evening. So, so good. Rich and hearty.

Keeping it simple tonight.

Red and purple potatoes, onion, fresh garlic, olive oil, thyme and rosemary, roasted in the oven. With Green Chile marinated chicken breasts.

Will check to see if I have it when I get home. If not, I may throw in some Horseradish mustard to kick it some kick instead.

At 10:45 last night, while studying in bed, I (half) jokingly said to my wife that I sure could use a cheeseburger.

The food **** seems to have slowed...

Last night's dinner. Shrimp, broccoli, pineapple and onion, pan-seared with a light, sweet-hot glaze, and on a bed of quinoa.

Can't really think of much I'd change next time, except to crank up the spice. I wound up sprinkling quite a bit more shichimi onto it.

(Yes, I know it's a Chinese take-out container. My good ceramic bowl was in use elsewhere at the time.)

The mango rice looks particularly yummy. What's in there, aside from the obvious?
