My office shifted a few program responsibilities around and majority rules...so now we're going to print out all electronic files and buy $10,000 in filing cabinets to store them, lol. They also aren't comfortable with Access, so now about 70 queries will be exported as spreadsheets and we'll duplicate efforts all day long.
lol @ federal government...my days are numbered.

Every time I see that GAU or a Vulcan, I want to cross train into being an areal gunner.
As for the .50 incident, what a ******* retard. Never ever shoot steel plate, of any gauge. (I assume thats what he shot at). I dont care if you believe you have a beast of a rifle, I wouldnt even do that with armor piercing rounds.

He fires another round, then yells, jumps up, drops the rifle, and starts shaking his hand. A piece of the target had flown all the way back and embedded itself in his finger. He was OK, it was a small piece, but it was his trigger hand, which of course was very close to his eye. He was not wearing shooting goggles.
True story. If I had not seen it myself I would not have believed it. I saw the sliver of metal in his finger. We had a hard time believing it ourselves at first but then realized that IS what happened. What are the odds?
Learned that lesson when I was 12. My younger brother and I were shooting .22 rockets in the back yard with my derringer when we decided to see if they would make a hole in the 55 gallon drum that we burned garbage in. First shot bounced back and left a welt on his chest. Never again.
BOOM! HEADSHOT!
It had to be said.
Based on my rough calculations (using the closest ammunition I could find), that minigun costs $75 to fire for 1 second, or $4,500 to fire continuously for a minute. That is insane! How much does it really cost?
