Here is an engine related question. What would be the problem with running scratched/scored valve guides in a new head with new valves? The scores run diagonal in a zig zag pattern where I pulled the valve out while twisting back and forth. I don't see how this could really effect the guides main job of keeping the valves straight and seated correctly.

I've got an interior rattling noise that sounds like it's coming from the far right passengers side AC/heat vent at 2K-4K ish RPM, but when I put my hand on the vent to attempt to silence it, nothing happens. So, I figure the noise must be comming from somewhere else. I searched but I can't find anything on it. Are there any common things that rattle on the passengers side of the interior that I should check?

Dont think so, it's definitely coming from the inside around the dash. The car has no rust, and the chassis is nice and quiet
