There's a reason even VW doesn't make them that way anymore.

If it is already reasonably priced for the neighborhood (and you are okay living in the neighborhood) and you can get it for ~11 - 28% under that asking price, it seems like a pretty good deal without knowing anything about your financial big picture.

The first question any potential home-buyer should ask themselves is, "How long do I expect to live here?" If don't want to be a homeowner, you almost surely don't want to be a landlord - especially in a shitty or iffy neighborhood.

So I looked at 5 houses today with my Realtor. I found 3 I liked, out of the 5. One of them was the one I already linked to. I will need to go find links to the other 2 to post. All 3 houses were in reasonable neighborhoods. Also for time of expecting to live there is probably 5-7 years, depending on what I want to do with my life later on. The Realtor actually owns rental properties in all the neighborhoods we looked at. She says she has never had a problem finding renters and rent on the houses would be far above mortgage payments. So if I decided to move I could keep any of the 3 as investment properties.

I will post more later this evening about the pros and cons of them all.

Its always little bullshit sales that give me grief!

I'll have a guy from the other side of the world send me $1k with no hangups what so ever, but a little piece of **** $5 sale will take triple the amount of time, communication and potentially leave me open for a bad feedback.

****!

Quote from my 7 year old niece:

I see a garage right behind your car. Simply put the car in reverse and put it in the garage.

It is already a rustang, so would go perfect out there covered in snow.

i think i have a better chance of hell freezing over, im sure his exact response would be " go get your own house, then you can have all the garage space you want."
